The magic of music and a search for a Managing Director

A huge thank you to the organisers of the Richmond Jazz Festival for fundraising for the Moormead pavilion.

It was music to our ears. The kind folks behind the Richmond Jazz Festival decided to donate all proceeds of their October event to help build a new pavilion at Moormead Park.
This is just the kind of community support and spirit that drives ambitious projects forward.
Gariesh Sharma, our lead trustee, went along to the event at the Turk’s Head. He met many wonderful people, including the event organiser Sarah Meyer, from the The Jazz Sanctuary.
“Sarah is a fantastic example of someone in our community reaching out and helping us get this project done,” says Gariesh.
He was also thrilled to see Emily Saunders giving the project a big shout out.
The next Jazz Festival is on 19 November. Be sure to get your tickets.
