Moormead Pavilion Needs You!

We’ve secured more than £500,000 to build our new pavilion. But to finish what we started, we urgently need volunteers. If you have the skills, and a bit of free time, join us for the final push in 2026.      

This year we plan to finish fundraising, appoint a café operator, and get ready to build a new community space for everyone who loves Moormead Park.

But we can’t do it without volunteers.

As we enter a new phase of the project, we need new and different skills. And we have no doubt our wonderful community has them.

You don’t need to invest a lot of time to make a big impact.

Do you have skills in:

• Finance (budgets, cashflow, oversight)

• Construction (plans, tender support, build know-how)

• Legal (compliance, insurance, contracts)

• Events (community event organising and fundraising)    

• Café partnership development (finding the right operator)

These are some of the most urgent skills, but we also need support in other areas – including helping us grow our team of trustees and volunteers.

This is your opportunity to leave a lasting legacy in St Margarets.
